The "Dolphin" as a testimony of outstanding craftsmanship belongs to the MEISSEN® "Limited Masterpieces".

To this day, the "Swan Service" enjoys worldwide popularity as one of the first services of the MEISSEN® manufactory. In addition to the numerous MEISSEN® porcelains for table and dining, MEISSEN®'s master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler also developed numerous sculptural figures and sculptures on behalf of Heinrich Graf von Brühl in 1737. One of these is the 8.5 cm high "Dolphin" figure, which reflects the maritime theme of the service through its naturalistic hand-painted on-glaze painting. Still formed and painted by hand in the MEISSEN® manufactory, this figurine brings the baroque flair into the modern age. As a single piece or in combination with existing services such as "MEISSEN® Blue Treasures", the "Dolphin" sculpture becomes an eye-catcher on the table at home.

The hand-painted "Dolphin" is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
