Irminger-Sprigged
With this vase, MEISSEN is returning to the founding years of the manufactory - the era of Johann Jacob Irminger, Dresden's court goldsmith and the manufactory's first master modeller. Inspired by European silver table services, the vase was first created in 1715, and wasone of the first porcelain vessels produced . As part of the 2019 "Limited Masterworks" collection, the white vase, with its rich arrangement of sculptural details, is embellished with opulent artwork for the first time in its history.
The muted , dark blue painted motif is visible in the flat spaces between the sculptural elements.
Meissen's creative director Otto Drogsler drew inspiration for the design of the long-tailed monkey series from an historic engraving from the Meissen archives that depicts a group of monkeys harvesting grapes. Grouped in arrangements under the embossed grapes and grape leaves, the monkeys are in an ongoing dialogue with the sculptural elements of the vase. The contiguousness of the painting coupled with its monotone colouring is evocative of French toile de jouy wallpaper. How ever, unlike the patterned fabrics , the images in this decor do not repeat, which , in combination with the difficulty of handling the piece and applying the paint behind and, in part, underneath the delicate sculptural elements, demands the utmost skill on the part of the porcelain painters. The result is a highly detailed, lively jungle scenery that is revealed to the observer in suggestive cut-outs, glimpsed through the thicket of grape vines.

1. For products that are available in our showroom in Karlovy Vary - delivery is carried out during maximum 3-4 weeks;
2. For products that are not on stock in our showroom in Karlovy Vary:
* LLADRO / AIDA / LOBMEYR / AZ-DESIGN / HG ATELIER: maximum 2 months for the production of the order + maximum 2 weeks for delivery;
* MEISSEN / HEREND / SOHER: from 6 to 12 months for the production of the order + maximum 2 weeks for delivery;
After your application for ordering a product through our online store, we will contact you via e-mail or phone to provide you with more information about the anticipated date of delivery and ways of payment of the order.
* ROBBE & BERKING: 2 weeks for the production of the order + maximum 3 weeks for delivery.
We will try to arrange delivery at the most convenient time for you, upon prior contact with you.

In the unlikely and unfortunate case of receiving a broken product, we kindly ask you to notify us about this within 24 hours, providing your message with pictures and description of the problem. In this case, we will request you to send it back (at our expense) and try to replace it as soon as possible.
Please note that the parcel must be opened in the presence of the courier. In case of any damages, you can return the parcel to the courier service.
