The "Field Hare" figure is one of the last models that Paul Walther created for MEISSEN® in 1933. With it, the animal sculptor brought to an end an artistic oeuvre that is unparalleled in its scope and expressiveness. Since 1904, the skilled embosser had left his mark on the popular genre like no other of his guild – without having to undergo any academic training. Paul Walther's roots in traditional craftsmanship contribute significantly to the authenticity of various animal models, such as the "Field Hare" figure. Lovingly hand-painted in detail, each of them convinces with a powerfully beautiful language of form, in which the gestures and facial expressions of the creatures are lifelike and sensitively worked out, making them a fabulous decoration.

Thus, this adorable hare enraptures, standing up and curiously holding his nose in the wind. Naturalistically hand-painted, it looks as if it could hop off at any moment. The figure is a fantastic decoration. Not only as an Easter decoration enchants the adorable work of art, hand-painted with love.
